| The satellite games for the mini series take place on all Sundays 1:30 PM from 23 May, 2010 through 25 July, 2010. The mini series satellites will run for 10 weeks. The winner of each weekend’s satellite will have earned a place in the final tournament, which takes place on Sunday 1 August 2010. The winner of the final tournament will receive at least $2000. The second place finisher will receive 60% of any funds received that exceed the $2000 guarantee to first place. Third place will receive 40%. The amounts will be posted prior to the final tournament, and depend on the total prize pool accumulated over the 10 tournaments. All final tournament players will start with the same amount of chips. If any weekend winner finishes 1st in more than one of the tournaments, it will not constitute an increased amount of starting chips in the final tournament. The advantage will reside in the fact that there are fewer players to eliminate to reach 1st place. Any repeat first place winners will receive a bonus payout of $100 for that day’s tournament prize pool. Entry is available to everyone that posts the $45.00 Buy-in to the tournament. The $45 Buy-in is broken down as follows: $20 goes to the weekly cash prize pool which is distributed as 1st place = 50% 2nd = 30% and 3rd = 20%. The $25 Entry fee will be recorded as Poker tournament revenues and $20 of that entry fee will be put in a savings account to fund the final tournament on Sunday August 1st. Off duty employees are eligible to enter and win. |
